In this season of Lent, let us reflect upon the sufferings of Christ and receive the healing that comes from Him. We can commit our wounds, brokenness and suffering to Him today. He heals!
This also means that when we are prepared to embrace and deal with the wounds within and around us, we would more likely be able to empathize and reach out to others, particularly to those who are deeply wounded in such a time like this!

The pain of the wounded can be excruciating. Thank God for the refuge and solace that only He can provide. For some, healing is swift and complete and for others, daybreak will be a long time in coming. It is all a mystery and we question not for we know who is in control. We hang on to that hope, that promise that dawn will surely arrive. And as we journey on in the night, we draw strength from our God and from the angels around us. We in turn share with others who are similarly wounded our love and our support. This we can do with so much more empathy and understanding because we have been there, and perhaps we still are.
